PRACTICE MCQs

We understand the importance of exam practice, especially under controlled conditions. To allow you to assess your current level of knowledge, you will start each day with a practice MCQ test under simulated exam conditions. Don’t worry - this is designed to get you into “the zone”, and to highlight areas on which you might need to focus your revision. There will be 4 practice MCQs over the course of the weekend, so plenty of opportunity to brush up on your technique. We will go through the answers together during the course.

Practice does indeed make perfect!

TEACHING

We will deliver short, focused keynote teaching with time for reflection and for questions afterwards. This is a tried and trusted high-yield revision technique .

By embedding essential basic science knowledge within clinical topics, you will develop a deeper understanding of key concepts.

You might find the course quite intense - this is our intention, and we believe it will help you benchmark and refine your knowledge as you approach the final few weeks of revision before sitting the exam.

We cannot cover the whole syllabus in 2 days, but we’ll touch on a huge range of material for the FRCS(Urol) Part 1 examination.
